What does Tennis Ninja do with all the video we've shot over the years? We archive it into our private database to preserve footage until it is one day needed again. That being said, if players are looking to purchase permanent or secondary copies of any match (or practice/lesson) that they have played in before, they can acquire a copy of that video through us if we shot footage of it in the past.

VIDEO PRIVACY POLICY: Players may only purchase copies of videos that they themselves participated in. Purchasing footage to scout other players/programs goes against our video privacy policy & is just not cool.

Video of any previous match/practice that the player has participated in from the past. Videos will be released as is (no editting unless previously edited by Tennis Ninja).

Extra video editting can be added for an additional $50 / video

All media servies above are available to players who also send us their own tenns footage! We are still able to edit & create tennis video presentations, or stats reports, if even we aren't the ones filming you play.

Designated Tournament (DT) - United States Tennis Association Junior Summer Section Championships
Jarand Iwase Tennis Complex @ Patsy Mink Central Oahu Regional park
    June, 2014

    Girls 18s Singles Finals:
    Sarah Dvorak (left-hander)
    Alyssa Tobita (right-hander)

USTA DT events are the central hub for Hawaii's top young junior players! Here, kids grow the most of in terms of how to handle themselves as a competitor as much as a player in big moments to one day prepare them for bigger & tougher arenas like high school tennis, college tennis, & so on. In these events, rivalries spawn from time to time between players within a given age bracket. Rivals end up growing up (as players) together as they age out of each age division, allowing rivals to push each other to constantly improve their games along the way.

In 2014, one of those junior rivalries went on display one last time at Patsy Mink! For several years before this match, girls singles players Alyssa Tobita & Sarah Dvorak had their fair share of big tournament matches together, including the 2012 HHSAA State Tournament Girls Singles Championship Finals. Alyssa, known for her speed around the court as well as her ability to do whatever it takes to keep the point going, & Sarah, known for her pounding groundstrokes & her grit to fight like her rival, would push each other with every passing year. Eventually, these two girls would meet one final time in their storied junior tennis careers at the USTA Junior Section Championships. There, they put on one last glorious match against each other!

Check out highlights from this final chapter in the Dvorak vs. Tobita junior tennis era!

    The Honolulu Masters
The Oahu Club, Hawaii Kai (Oahu)
    September, 2013

    Men's Open Singles Finals:
    (1) Petr Michnev (right-hander)
    (2) Rong Ma (left-hander)

Once again we find ourselves diving back into the Honolulu Masters, a local open tournament on the island of Oahu. The winner of this event received a wildcard into the singles main draw of the then Royal Lahaina Challenger, a Men's Pro Tennis circuit tournament where some of the superstar pros of tomorrow go to compete & get a taste of the 808. The Honolulu Masters would serve as a great showcase of the islands' most talented players as the majority of the singles draw would be made up of collegiate players from the likes local Hawaii colleges like the University of Hawaii & Hawaii Pacific University.

After his previous slugfest the night before w/ Spanish stud Jaume Martinez-Vich, former Brigham Young University Hawaii (BYUH) standout Rong Ma was officially one round away from making the main draw of the Royal Lahaina Challenger! Under 24 hours ago from this video, he engaged in a titanic semi final w/ Jaume from HPU, that match lasting over 2 hours w/ a 7pm start time the previous evening. The Finals of the tournament was set to start at 9am the following Saturday morning & you could believe Rong was exhausted. Somehow, he got enough rest & fluids over night to give his all one more time. This time, for the event title & the wildcard!

On the opposite side of the court stood one HPU's then #1 player on the Men's Tennis roster, Petr Michnev! Petr, a local of the Czech Republic, graduated from the Maticni Grammar School of Ostrava, lettering of the sport of tennis. In 2011, he joined the division 2 Sharks & became a force on the court ever since! Before the event, he had been named an ITA All-American, achieved career high rankings of #4 in singles & #3 with partner Patric Guenther in doubles. He was a dominant player in his collegiate realm as well as made appearances in pro events like the Honolulu Challenger in 2012.

In other words, this matchup definitely was one on paper that many Hawaii tennis fans at that time wanted to see!

Check out highlights from this awesome championship match!
